‘Public good for quantum technologies’ by Dr Tara Roberson
Test intro title
Test intro text
How might talking about public good and responsibility change how we support the development and use of quantum technologies? In this talk, I will discuss the results of my study into the language that informed some of the earliest national strategies for quantum technology. In this study we posed a public good test for quantum research that, spoiler alert!, those strategies failed to pass. I will conclude by reviewing more recent events, specifically reflecting on the process of developing a national quantum strategy in Australia.
